Meet The Founder

My name is Lucie Simonyan, and I am the founder of Yan’s Club Athletics.

I was born in Armenia, in a small town called Yeghvard, where my parents still live and where my heart will always feel at home. I spent over a decade living in the Maldives, working as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Teacher at One&Only Reethi Rah, a luxury resort that welcomed clients from around the world — including athletes, celebrities, business leaders, and public figures.

That's where I met my husband — a moment that quietly changed the course of my life.

We did a few years of long-distance, we were travelling together in Montenegro when he proposed. Shortly after, I made the bold decision to leave my job and move to Sydney to marry the Love of my life.

Starting over in a new country reshaped me. It demanded courage, resilience, and the confidence to push beyond my comfort zones. It taught me that growth begins where fear ends — and that reinvention is powerful.

That mindset is the foundation of Yan's Club Athletics.

Our Story

After more than a decade in the Fitness and Pilates industry, noticing that activewear often prioritised appearance over performance. Comfort, function, and longevity were rarely balanced in one piece — and Yan’s Club Athletics was created to change that.

It is created for women who are building themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Women who choose strength. Women who commit to their evolution. Women who show up for themselves, even when it’s hard.


As a Pilates instructor, I’ve witnessed how movement transforms confidence. As a founder, I wanted to create an activewear that supports that transformation — pieces that feel strong, sculpting, and empowering.

Each design is shaped by real movement and real wear — sculpting without restriction, supporting without discomfort, and feeling effortless from studio sessions to everyday life. These are pieces made to perform, while remaining timeless, elevated, and easy to wear beyond the workout.
Yan's Club Athletics represents Discipline. Femininity. Power. Reinvention.


Because when you choose yourself, everything changes.


The name YAN'S is inspired by the Armenian surname ending “YAN” which signifies connection and identity. Paired with Club, it reflects a sense of belonging — not to one place or culture, but to a shared mindset. Yan’s Club is for anyone who values movement, confidence, and feeling good in what they wear.


It’s a community, built around strength, intention, and everyday movement.
